During the warmer seasons, you might prefer a shorty or super shorty wetsuit which covers your thighs but not calves. Shorty wetsuits come in long and short sleeve.
In the warmer waters you need a 1mm or 2mm wetsuit.
In winter and in colder waters, you’re going to need a thicker, full wetsuit (3mm, 4mm and 5 mm wetsuits)
If you came to kitesurfing from a non-wind water sport like surfing, swimming or diving and want to use your current wetsuit, you’re probably not using the best suit for kiteboarding.
We learned from Mystic Waterwear that one of the biggest differences between a wetsuit made for kitesurfing is the use of nylon one-sided -- aka “smooth skin” -- material in strategically placed positions on the body.
Shorty, or full suit, front zip, back zip, summer suit, winter suit...in our shop you will find the right wetsuit for your kitesurfing needs.
